E Session: Sam and Pearl

My little brother Sam is getting married in three weeks. I'm really excited for their wedding. It's going to be super fun. I'm also looking forward to photographing the wedding. I did some engagement pictures for Sam and Pearl this winter but it was cold and we didn't take very many. Now that its summer we went out and got a few more today. Here are a few shots that I really liked. :)

My brother is always trying to ninja kick stuff. He's such a kid.

They are going to make me some cute neices and nephews some day!

Seriously, their kids are going to have the most beautiful eyes

Quite possibly my favorite from the session...

My other two favorites:

And a couple more..

Little Jazzy turns 4!

This month my cousin's daughter turns four years old. So, of course we had to do some portraits. Jazmyn wasn't too thrilled about getting her picture taken but I think we got some cute shots anyway. Here are a few of my favorites:

Jazmyn's favorite look to give me when I asked her to smile:

Oh and this look too...

But occasionally she'd pull out a real smile:

We had a couple helpers who tried to get Jazmyn to brighten up. They were able to get some smiles out of her. But, they couldn't get her to jump. This picture cracks me up. Jazmyn is just kind of like: This is ridiculous. I'm so not jumping up and down.

And a cute picture of one of our helpers:

E Session: Alice and Nic

Wouldn't this make a cute save the date card??

Today I photographed Alice and Nic. They are getting married in July (as you can tell from the above picture) in Keosaqua. These two were both in a wedding that I shot last June. So if they look familiar... thats why! Their session today was lots of fun and they were super easy to photograph. It of course helps that they are both gorgeous! It is really hard to pick favorits from their session but here is a super quick sneak peek. I'll try to post more of my favorites later.

And a classic head shot...

Courtney's Senior Session

I had four sessions scheduled this weekend but two were canceled because of the weater - rain on Friday afternoon and EXTREME wind today. At least it didn't rain ALL weekend which is what I was afraid of!

Before my Friday afternoon session was cancelled I had a Friday morning session with Courtney, a senior at Ottumwa. We made our way through out town and even with the bike trail which I haven't used much lately as a picture spot. Here are a few of her pictures!
